This is our second vintage of 1793; a sweet fortified 100% Frontenac Noir. This one is all dark cherry aromas and flavour with just a wee kiss of oak.   

The alcohol and oak have integrated nicely with the wine which balances with the acidity to ensure this wine can stand on its own or pair nicely with food. This special wine would compliment any dessert, blue cheese, dark chocolate or be bold and pour over some French vanilla ice cream - also enjoyed on its on in front of a roaring fire.

This wine was awarded a Bronze medal at the Cold Climate Wine Awards 2022 and again in 2023
